St. Matthew's Church Stretton Open Day with tower tours

Saturday 14th September 2024 the church will be open from 10 am to 4pm with displays about the church’s heritage and local history.

There will also be an opportunity to climb 41 steps of the spiral staircase of the tower to visit the ringing chamber and learn about bell ringing.

Refreshments will be available.

Directions:

If travelling by car use the M56, exit at junction 10, take the A49 north towards Warrington, at the first set of traffic lights turn right (east) onto the B5356 towards Appleton Thorn. The church is on the left with a car park at the east end of the churchyard.
