St Mary's Church Wymeswold, Open Day and Textile Exhibition
St Mary's Church, Far Street, Wymeswold, Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE12 6TZ
St Mary's church is a Grade I listed building, of national importance because it is a well-preserved Victorian restoration by the architect A.W. Pugin. There will be an exhibition of textile art by the Wymeswold Textile Group and workshops for adults and children. The theme of the workshops is The Wymeswold Dragon, a gothic metalwork design by Pugin. There will also be a small exhibition on the architectural history of the church and chapels of Wymeswold.
