St Mary's Church Lewisham Open Days

In addition to the Fair & Open Church on Saturday 14 September there are now further hours when the church will be open to see displays from a variety of groups linked with the church or dealing with the history of the local area:

Book individual activities on the day at St Mary's in respect of visits to the bell ringing chamber on Saturday 7th and 14th September.

Accessibility details

There are 71 steps on a curved stairwell in the tower to get access to the ringing chamber. No access is allowed to the actual bells for health and safety reasons.

Additional information

Various other stalls available in the churchyard and garden on the day of the Garden Fete on Saturday 14 September.
