A chance to visit to the architect George Pace's finest parish church with its stained glass by John Piper and Patrick Reyntiens and Gillian Rees-Thomas and Harry Stammers. Celebrating St Mark's role as an eco-congregation.

Explore the architecture of George Pace with its stunning east and west windows at St Mark's Broomhill, which was selected by the National Churches Trust as one of the UK's Top 10 Best Modern Churches and is the only church in the Sheffield Diocese to be featured in a book on English churches. You will have the opportunity to discover the history of this church, including how it was rebuilt after being destroyed by bombing in 1940. This year will focus both on the past and on the present role of St Mark's as an eco-church with a chance to see what the church has achieved both inside and out. Activities will be available for children and fair-trade refreshments will be on offer.

Members of the church will be available to explain features of the church and guide you round if you so wish.
