St Laud's Church, Sherington will be open with an exhibition by Sherington Historical Society. Look around the church with a free leaflet showing its history, and take away two other leaflets for an historical self-guided walk around the village.

St Laud's Church in Sherington will be open for visitors during the Heritage Open Days' event from 11 am until 4 pm on both Sunday 8 September and Saturday 14 September. This church is the only one in England known to be dedicated to Saint Laud. The church dates from 1140. Take a look around with a leaflet detailing the history of the church and see the exhibition put on by Sherington Historical Society. After tea and cake – refreshments will be available in the church on both days – you can take a walk around Sherington, learning about the various historical buildings around the village, with two self-guided walk leaflets. All the leaflets will be available to take away from the front of the church on both of these open days.
