Guides available , giving tours and aspects of the history of the church. A visit to the bell ringing chamber (open 1000-1300), the bell chamber is not accessible. Refreshments will be available in the café.

A general guided tour of the church, highlighting the wonderful stained glass windows and their history and to view the ancient font. Also a chance to visit St Oswald's chapel, within the church, which displays the Pontefract Roll of Honour and the flag of the Burma Association.

Visit the bell ringing chamber (10:00-13:00), which is rarely open to the
public, and learn the history of the tower. The bell ringers will be available to
tell you about the ancient art of bell ringing. (the bell chamber is not accessible)

The café, within St Giles, will be open.

Note: the bell ringing chamber is open 1000-1300. The chamber is only accessible via narrow, spiral, worn, stone steps. The ground floor main body of the church has full wheelchair access.
