St. Chad's Church, Kirkby
St. Chad's Church, Old Hall Lane, Kirkby, Merseyside, L32 5TH
St. Chad's has been at the heart of the community of Kirkby for centuries, and for most of that time it was a small chapel in a small agricultural community. 150ish years ago, the current church was built by the Earl of Sefton, and Kirkby was elevated to its own parish, with a building that contains the best of its era. We will have some of the church's photos, embroidery and old magazines out on display - come and see if you can recognise yourself in any of them!
Tower tours will be available.
