St Annes Parish Church
St Annes Parish Church, St Annes Road East, Lytham St. Annes, Lancashire, FY8 3BB
St Annes-on-Sea Parish Church was one of the first buildings in the new town of St Annes and gave the town its name. It was built in 1873 and last year celebrated its 150th anniversary. In 1890 the tower was added and fitted with a fine peal of 8 bells, which ring out every Sunday. To celebrate the anniversary the bells were refurbished and augmented; the church gained six newly cast bells with the back four bells completely refurbished.
Heritage Open Day provides an opportunity to view our fine church with its WW1 Memorial Chapel and to see the famous St Annes Heritage Mural, which tells the story of St Annes-on-Sea from 1873 to the present day. The bell tower will be open for those wishing to visit it; this will need to be pre-booked as places are limited.

Fully accessible in the main body of the church but the altar is reached by steps and the bell tower is definitely not accessible by wheelchair.
