St Andrew's is a well preserved Grade 1 listed 12th century building with a Transitional Tower and several interesting internal features and artefacts - Cafe Doris speciality coffee shop operates within it every Tuesday and Thursday mornings. We offer short talks on the Church and its history plus details of George Washington and his family connections in Spratton by a local historian and also by an expert on the First President of the USA.
There will be a 20 minute talk by two local historians, followed by an internal tour of the church and then a 15 minute walk around the churchyard.
You can combine finding out about our local history with our specialist refreshments before or afterwards.
Booking is therefore recommended.
