St Aidan's Church Open Day
Manchester Road, Sudden, Rochdale, Greater Manchester, OL11 3EL
St Aidan's Church was designed by the renowned church architect, Temple Moore and consecrated in 1915. The East Window was installed in 1946 as part of the church's war memorial and it will be possible to view the results of research into each member of the parish commemorated on the pavement tablets in front of the High Altar. The church also has a notable Father Willis Organ which was originally installed in Park Hall, Cardiff and an unusual outside pulpit. Heritage memorabilia will be on display.
