Sporting Fulwood
Old Fulwood Road, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S10 3TG
During the nineteenth century and the first half of the 20th century, a wide variety of sports were played by inhabitants and their neighbours. Numerous fields were used, and clubs abounded.
We will walk to some of the locations that were, or still are, used as sports grounds. We will share some of the stories of the sports that were played both at these locations and others in the area.
