Southchurch Hall is a distinctive timber framed house in the heart of Southend on Sea, but it didn't always look the way it does today. Take a tour to find out how the site has grown and developed over the years, shaped by those who have lived there.

Today, Southchurch Hall stands in the heart of Southend on Sea, a recognizable timber framed structure surrounded by local green space. However, it once looked very different, despite its age. The site has grown and developed over its thousand year history, shaped by those who have passed through over time and called the hall home.

Take a tour of the house with Southend Museums to discover how Southchurch Hall and the surrounding area has evolved through the years, influenced by new ideas and the hands through which it changed. The tour will last approximately 1 hour.
