The city of Newcastle is renowned for its historic conservation aesthetic of mid to late Victorian architecture. However, the modern buildings and how these connect to the urban environment play an equal part in how we experience the city today. Join Special Collections archivist Jemma Singleton as she takes you on a walking tour around the International Centre for Life and the surrounding streets, which formed part of Sir Terry Farrell's greater vision for an International Science Village.

Will be outside - Wear comfortable shoes - may be rescheduled at short notice if the weather looks horrific.
