Located beside the double-apex of Luffield Corner in a former WW2 aircraft hanger, Silverstone Museum offers a fantastic journey through the heritage of British motor racing. This dynamic museum provides immersive journey through the history of racing, showcasing legendary drivers, world-leading engineering feats, and pivotal moments that shaped the sport. Visitors can explore a range of interactive exhibits, including state-of-the-art displays and engaging stories that bring motorsport to life!

Our unique Archive Handling sessions allow visitors to delve deeper into the rich history of motorsport by getting up close and personal with never-before-seen material from our archives. As the custodians and home to the British Racing Drivers' Club's rich archive, participants can handle priceless memorabilia, from vintage race programs and photographs, to historic trophies and gear worn by racing legends. This hands-on approach not only brings the past to life, but also offers a tangible connection to the sport and its heroes.

Directions:
From the A43, turn onto Dadford Road and follow the road up to the roundabout. At the roundabout, turn left and take the first exit. Follow the road towards the Circuit Main Gate, and turn left at the overhead gantry to enter the Museum car park. The Museum is just a short walk away from here.

Free entry spaces are limited for Heritage Open Days bookings. Please book in advance, walk-up bookings will not be accepted and will be charged at a standard admission price. Tickets cannot be sold or exchanged for cash and are not valid for an Annual Pass upgrade.

Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring an Assistance Dog as access to the outdoor Luffield Viewing Terrace will need to be communicated to Silverstone Circuit to grant access.
