Silver End Garden Village Walk

The walk starts from outside the Heritage Centre within the Village Hall (next to Co-op). See Francis Crittall's home; the largest village hall in the UK; the site of the department store; the Modernist telephone exchange; the thatched church; the managers detached flat roofed houses; the unique layout of the village and the many Modern Movement flat roofed houses the village is famous for.
The local guide, a member of the Silver End Heritage Society Committee will point out features and places of intrestt during the walk which is approximately two hours
