Sensing St Alfege: Suffragette Crafting Session

Using recycled scraps of fabric, we will together create a physical artwork that salutes the activism that took place in St Alfege Church over 100 years ago, condemning forcible feeding. Part of 'Sensing St Alfege. The Flavourful Histories of St. Alfege Church'.

- St Alfege Church is in the centre of Greenwich and is easily accessible by public transport. We suggest you use TFL Journey Planner to plan your visit. By rail: Greenwich mainline station - 10 minutes walk (either exit from the station). DLR: Cutty Sark for Maritime Greenwich - 5 minutes walk; Greenwich - 10 minutes walk. Buses: 129, 177, 180, 188, 199, 286, 386. River Services: Greenwich Pier - 10 minutes walk. Parking: there is no public parking available in the churchyard but on street parking using meters is nearby. There are two public car parks nearby: Burney Street SE10, 8EX and Cutty Sark Gardens, SE10 9HT.
