Uncover the layers of history at Scaplen's Court.

A 'Hard Hat’ Guided Tour of Scaplen’s Court and Garden. Join us for a fascinating ‘behind the scenes tour’ with our archaeologist who has been uncovering the layers of history within Scaplen’s Court as part of the Poole Museum redevelopment. The building dates back to the 15th Century when it was a merchant's mansion. It retains elements of Medieval, Elizabethan and Georgian phases. There is a delightful garden at the rear of the building. Scaplen’s Court is a live construction site, and hard hats and high vis jackets will be provided and must be worn. Please wear sensible shoes. Each tour will last approximately 60 minutes.
