Medieval merchants and trade routes of Sandwich. Visit the Sandwich medieval centre and learn about the merchants of the town, meet the port clerk and find out about the goods being traded. Take in the sites and sounds of the medieval workshop.

The medieval centre will be offering visitors the chance to make a card model of a medieval trading ship call a cog along with being able to play a range of medieval table games like Three Men’s Morris, Fox and Geese, Alquerque and Seega on our hand carved games tables.
We will also have many other reenactors in the centre displaying and demonstrating a range of medieval crafts like blacksmithing, baking, calligraphy and illumination, block printing, silk work and you can even visit the barber surgeon, plus you can have a go at striking your own coin. Learn all about the medieval trading ships and goods they were bringing in to the town.
