To tie in with Heritage Open Days theme: Routes:Networks:Connections we have created a
a free family friendly trail which will guide you to items of artwork and artefacts from our collection with a connection to travel. This includes our painting of a 5 wheeled Omnibus in the Victorian Gallery and the penny farthing resting on Lark Hill Place.
We will also have a small selection of travel related items from our archive, put on display especially for the festival.

We have three accessible parking spaces for blue badge holders adjacent to the museum entrance (max stay for these spaces is up to 3 hours) Ramp into the building for wheelchair and pram access, as it is a little steep, please call reception on 0161 778 0800 if you need assistance A lift is available which provides step free access to all floors, the lift entrance is 90 cm wide, the depth of the lift is 138 cm Adequate seating is located throughout
