Rock Park Social History Walk
New Ferry Road, New Ferry, Cheshire, CH62 1DA
The Estate was laid out by Joseph Bennison in 1837 & now comprises 36 houses of different styles. Also surviving are the old Rock Ferry pier and the listed stone slipway.
The walk starts on an incline but is flat beyond this. All is on a ‘paved’ roadway.Walk length is approximately half a mile and lasts between 1½ and 2 hours
Meet at the New Ferry Pier terminal at the junction of The Dell and New Ferry Road, New Ferry, CH62 1DA
Walk finishes at The Refreshment Rooms, Bedford Road East, Rock Ferry, CH42 1LS.
Refreshments can be purchased locally at the end of the walk.
This is a guided walk & not suitable for most children under 14 years of age - but please make contact if you have any specific queries in relation to this.
