This is a walk around Rock Park – highlighting its social history and significance. The buildings are Grade II Listed and the New Ferry – Rock Ferry coast is designated an SSSI (Site of Specific Scientific Interest).

The Estate was laid out by Joseph Bennison in 1837 & now comprises 36 houses of different styles. Also surviving are the old Rock Ferry pier and the listed stone slipway.

The walk starts on an incline but is flat beyond this. All is on a ‘paved’ roadway.Walk length is approximately half a mile and lasts between 1½ and 2 hours

Meet at the New Ferry Pier terminal at the junction of The Dell and New Ferry Road, New Ferry, CH62 1DA

Walk finishes at The Refreshment Rooms, Bedford Road East, Rock Ferry, CH42 1LS.
Refreshments can be purchased locally at the end of the walk.

This walk is accessible if you are disabled - it does start on an incline but is flat beyond this and throughout is on 'paved' roadway.

Meeting point at the old New Ferry Pier Terminal. Coffee, tea and biscuits will be for sale at Refreshment Rooms at end of the walk.
