Visit Rievaulx Terrace, a historic landscape with two temple follies and stunning views of the Yorkshire countryside.

For one weekend only, visit this historic landscaped terrace completely free of charge. Wander down a wooded walk to discover two temples built 250 years ago, and get a stunning view of abbey ruins from above.

Rievaulx Terrace can be accessed by road on the B1257, or by foot within 3/4 miles of the Cleveland Way.

Rievaulx Terrace is a predominantly outdoor site with grass paths and loose gravel paths. There is separate mobility parking and an alternative accessible entrance via a side passage to the site. The site is partly accessible, with some steps, and benches available.
