With a plethora of original documents, photos and artefacts as well as passionate and knowledgeable exhibitors, we will bring this history to life and much more! .

As part of the event we are showcasing ISTEL, a company who, in the last quarter of the 20th century were the dominant employer in Redditch. Growing out of the internal computer services department at British Leyland they employed 1800 people in Redditch and 4000 worldwide. In Redditch they had a state of the art Data Centre at Moons Moat, and offices in Grosvenor House (the Company’s HQ), St. Stephen’s House, Highfield House, Springfield House and other satellite offices around the town. Over the last year two former ISTEL employees have be on a mission to ensure that the name ISTEL is remembered and this exhibition will highlight the success of the project.
