Guided Tours, Presentations and Real Life 19th Century Millers!

Everyone is welcome to come and explore this 215 year old, Grade II listed building. You can learn how the Windmill worked and try the quiz in the museum, as well as dress up in traditional costumes and find out about the Castle that once stood on Rayleigh Mount! Accessibility details

Full access to ground floor. Upper floors accessible by stairs only. There are cameras on each floor of the Windmill, including an external camera showing the view from the top. This will be shown on a TV screen on the ground floor of the Windmill, enabling visitors who are unable to access the stairs to see and enjoy all the Windmill has to offer.

An Historic 215 years old, Grade II listed building full of local history, including information in addition on the adjacent Rayleigh Mount (National Trust).
