Preston Masons have occupied the Saul Street site for 80 years in September. Over those years the Hall has developed from a disused Church and Sunday School to a 1950's masterpiece. The 1862 Sunday School survives in the heart of the building. The church is long gone as are Armitage's Soap Works and a row of cottages. Let Freemasons guide you around the Masonic Rooms and explain the colourful interiors whilst wearing their splendid full dress regalia. Learn more about this friendly group which includes men and women. Many of the items on show are some 200 years old and have been well looked after. Visit the FREE Local Artists and Photographers Exhibition in the Ballroom. There are a wide variety of exhibits to view and even purchase. Meet these remarkably talented Preston artisans. Enjoy a drink and something to eat in our fully licenced bar. Easy to find located between the Combined Courts and the Magistrates Court on Ringway.
