Playhouse open to the public with guided backstage tour.

This small theatre in Nidderdale, formerly a Primitive Methodist Chapel, has recently been refurbished to include a lift to the auditorium on the first floor. In 1968 the building was purchased by Pateley Bridge Dramatic Society, converted into The Playhouse and is entirely run by members. Visitors can learn more about the history of both the building and the Society as they take a tour backstage. The Society performs around 3 productions a year. The Playhouse has an excellent reputation for high quality drama, drawing audiences from the local area and further afield.
