Our Hidden Faces - Survivor Arts Exhibition

156 Nantwich Road, Crewe, Cheshire, CW2 6BG

  • Multiple dates available
  • In person
  • Pre-booking not required

Survivor Arts Exhibition is now in its 11th year. Every piece on display has been created by a survivor of abuse of some form. Everyone involved with the exhibition has given their time, energy, passion and skill for free.

This year’s Survivor Arts Exhibition is a free to enter event held at the Survive at 156 Nantwich Road Crewe. The exhibition showcases art works produced by survivors of abuse of some form. The artists come from Crewe, Cheshire East and West and further areas in the North West region.

The theme for this year’s exhibition is Our Hidden Faces. We are exploring the difference between the face we present to the outside world, at work, with friends and with our loved ones and the face we keep hidden inside ourselves. The exhibition itself can contain some strong pieces. These are in a separate viewing area. Please come and challenge yourself. Some works can be purchased but the decision to sell or not lies entirely with the artist.

The building itself is over 100 years old with several original features especially the ceilings in some downstairs rooms. Everyone involved with the exhibition, and everyone involved with Survive is a volunteer.
