Otley Bridge Church, a listed building dating from the late 19th Century, is open for self-guided tours, viewing of the East Window commemorating those who served in WWI, treasure hunts, and displays. Light refreshments will be available.

Otley Congregational Church opened in October 1899 and this is the building you see today. The old Salem Chapel lintel was built into the new wall on Bridge Street. The new church was of a Gothic style, much loved in the Victorian era, with its spire reaching into the sky.
The buildings have provided a home for worship, Sunday School, Junior Church and many of the church’s activities, but they have also hosted many groups from the town and during the First World War the hall was the centre of a social & support centre each day for the soldiers based at Farnley Camp.
Alterations have taken place to the buildings over the years, including the addition of some stained glass and also small modifications to reflect changing worship patterns.
A major fire in 1993 destroyed the hall and its surrounding rooms, but this was rebuilt within its surviving original walls.
In 1972 the majority of Congregational churches united with the Presbyterian Church in England, forming the United Reformed Church. At this point, the church restyled itself as The Bridge Church. The church continues to adapt to the changing community in which it is set.
