A special Open Day at Doncaster's eighteenth century Mansion House. There will be guided tours led by costumed volunteer guides, a Children's Discovery trail and a workshop on Georgian dancing in the Ballroom. Tea and coffee will be available.

The workshop will be led by Lottie from "Dance the Past" Lottie has been performing in Historic Dance groups for over 10 years.
Suitable for dancing abilities: beginners to intermediate (please wear comfortable shoes)

Accessibility details

There are steps up to the entrance, so access for wheelchair users or people who find stairs difficult is via the Tourist Information Office next door. There is a lift to the first floor. However, because of fire regulations, no more than one person who would need to be evacuated using an evac chair can be accommodated on the first floor. .If you are a wheelchair user you may be asked to wait for a short time on the ground floor, where there are interesting rooms and a display to visit, before going upstairs.
