Open Building: Family History Unit

Family History Unit, 2nd Floor, Municipal Buildings, Earle Street, Crewe, Cheshire, CW1 2BJ

  • Multiple dates available
  • In person
  • Pre-booking not required

The Family History Unit contains a wealth of resources to help with your family history, house history or local history research projects. A chance for all to visit and view our collections.

Situated on the 2nd Floor of the Municipal Buildings, the Family History Unit is manned by experienced and knowledgeable volunteers. During HODs we are offering the chance for those interested in family and local history the opportunity to learn about the extensive range of material we hold, much of it unique. Drop in and discover how both our experts and resources can assist in furthering your research.

While it will not be possible to carry out any individual research during HODs, please feel free to discuss with our volunteers how, for a small donation to the Unit, you can make an appointment during our normal opening times for a one-to-one research session.
