Join the Friends of Ocklynge Cemetery to uncover Eastbourne's history through people of the past in this guided tour of the cemetery.

Ocklynge Cemetery has been the last resting place for Eastbournians since 1857. From suffragettes to sportsmen, join the Friends of Ocklynge Cemetery on a walk and uncover the stories of some of the people buried there. The tour will include the history of the cemetery, pointing out some of the more interesting graves and the stories behind the people buried there, as well as taking a look at the War Graves.

Meet at the Cemetery Gates in Willingdon Road.

An easy and flat walk on established footpaths. Not Suitable for dogs.
