Oak House is the timber framed home of a wealthy West Bromiwch farmer and ironmonger at the front back the additions at the back built 30 years later in the 1650s tell of a lower gentry family. Come on our guided tour and discover this fabulous and fascinating building and the Turton family who lived there in the 1600s, their connections to the Civil War and how they got their money. Discover and explore this amazing survival in the middle of industrial Victorian and Edwardian terrace houses.

Parking is available on Oak Road down the hill fromt he visitor centre, on Cambridge Street or on the pay and display car park on Lodge Rd a 10 minute walk away.
