A guided circular walk along the Lymbourn stream, exploring the Saxon Tithing of Newtimber, the foreshore and Langstone Harbour.

This three mile guided walk will depart from the Spring Arts and Heritage Centre and follow the line of the Lynmouth and the Manor of Wade to the southern foreshore. Then along the beach through the little seaside port of Langstone examining the site of the Bridge created 200 years ago before returning to the Spring along the Puffing Billy Train Trail.

Directions:
700 bus to the old post office. Cross the busy main road carefully. Meet your guide, Neil in the Foyer of The Spring Arts and Heritage Centre from 13:15. The group will depart sharply at 13:30. Please ring mobile number below if you are likely to be late.

Stout shoes or boots are recommended. The walk will include irregular and possibly muddy areas underfoot.

Additional information

The first quarter of this walk is identical to the bookable Wade Court Gardens 13th September event without the entrance to that private garden and will act as an overflow for those who are unable to book but you are not encouraged to attend both events
