Newbury District Field Club History Day - annual event with five lectures focussing on local topics. This year were have been invited to St Marys Church, Shaw, RG14 2DR.

Our speakers are: Dr David Peacock, "Almshouses in Newbury*, Penelope Stokes, "The Foundling Hospital", Simon Marsh, from the Battlefield Trust, "The Battles of Newbury", Marie-Louise Kerr, "The History of Penicillin" and finally David Willets, "Relief in Need" Please prebook a place. Light lunch available. Starting at 10am prompt and aiming to finish by 4.30pm.
