Join young Velo artists, Snootie Studios and Laura Bracey Curry at The Gibberd Garden for free bead workshops where you can make your own friendship bracelet, key chain, and phone charms.

Join Harlow Art Trust Velo artists' Snootie Studios and Laura Bracey-Curry for a free bead workshop, inspired by the work of Gerda Rubinstein, and her relationship with Pat & Fredrick Gibberd.

In the workshop you'll craft unique bead pieces, phone charms, and friendship bracelets, using second-hand beads. Inspired by Rubinstein’s ‘Potentate’, you will explore how to translate her sculptural forms into wearable art.

This will take place in the enchanting Gibberd Garden which is celebrating Heritage Open Day. Marvel at the stunning landscapes, sculptures, and art while enjoying live music from Six on Sax.

The Velo Artists will be arriving in style on cargo bikes. You can discover your way to The Gibberd Garden by going to www.thegibberdgarden.co.uk for more directions by train, bus, car, cycling or foot.
