New Hall Water Mill
New Hall Mill, off Wylde Green Road, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B76 1QU
Dating mostly from the 18th Century, the Mill will be operating and producing flour and birdseed.
In addition to the water-powered machinery a Ruston Hornby diesel engine drives further machines and the sack hoist.
Visitors can try their hand at operating the sack hoist and making flour using a hand-operated quern.
The beautiful grounds allow exploration of the ponds and woodland. The gardens reflect how the miller and their family could produce home-grown vegetables, fruit and flowers. Garden produce and plants will be available for sale.
The grounds will offer various stalls and events.
Our very own 'Auntie Wainwright's' sheds cater for lovers of bric-a-brac and the tea room is a particular attraction.
Free parking and entry.
