Explore the history and heritage of Old Blundell’s, an Elizabethan former school in the heart of Tiverton. Discover some of the stories and connections of the building and find out about the National Trust’s plans for the future of the site.

We will be opening up Old Blundell’s to share the history and heritage of the site. Dating from the early 17th Century, and not normally open to the public, Old Blundell’s is a hidden gem in the centre of Tiverton. We will be running tours throughout the day, giving visitors an opportunity to learn about the history of the site, from its creation as a school in 1604, through to the conversion of residential units during the Victorian period. We will also be sharing our plans for the future of the site.
