My Bath view bucket list with Charles Minty
Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution, 16-18 Queen Square, Bath, Somerset, BA1 2HN
Bath artist Charles L. W. Minty, who takes his inspiration from his heroes Renoir and Singer Sargent, talks about his motivation and his desire to capture people in landscapes in oil on canvas and the challenges that this represents.
As a professional artist and painter of the city’s streets, architecture and the people in it, Charles doesn’t work in a studio. He needs the natural light and “real” inspiration of being outdoors, with all of the interesting and often unexpected events and challenges that contribute to his finished works. He will reveal the views in Bath that he most wants to capture.
