Two porticoed classical towers, which stood at each end of a grandiose but highly unconventional Georgian church, designed by Robert Adam in 1776.

A display on the two versions of St Mary’s Church and its relationship to the Rigby Family.
The Towers will be the base for walks around the immediate area covering the development of Mistley Thorne by the Rigby family.
The short walks will depart at approximately 2.30, 3.30 and 4.30 pm. The Longer walks (Rigby Ramble) 2.30 and 4.00 pm.
These are all free and open to all.

Directions:
There are no facilities at the towers but they are on the edge of the village of Mistley where there are shops, and places to eat and drink. Please be aware that there are four steep, narrow steps up to the doors of each tower.
