Milton Keynes Museum is where history comes to life: fascinating stories, memorable events, exhibits we encourage you to touch, and loads to see for every age and interest. Browse our Street of Shops; explore toys from another age in our Story of Childhood exhibit; Call your friends in the Connected Earth Gallery; Experience a WWII air raid in our Anderson shelter; join a lesson in our Victorian Schoolroom; Challenge the family to a game in the Farmhouse; Make hot buttered toast in the Farmhouse Kitchen; Ride the world's largest steam tramcar in our Hall of Transport and much, much more. All for free.
There is also the granary cafe for tea, coffee, cakes and light snacks, or enjoy your own food in our picnic area. Our Gift Shop carries a wide range of unusual and affordable gifts and crafts, as well as pocket money toys. Almost all of our galleries and facilities are at ground level and accessible in a wheelchair or with a pushchair. Parking is free. Plus enjoy a glass of real ale or cider from our bar.
