A free talk on medieval food, cooking and baking in Bailey's Wood

Ever wondered what sort of food people ate in the Middle Ages? What sort of cooking did people do back when Bailey's Wood was part of a medieval deer park? Join us for a unique event - a talk on medieval cooking and baking by medieval food expert Dr Christopher Monk in the atmospheric setting of our little patch of ancient woodland in North Manchester!

This event is suitable for all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Meet us at the Grange Park Road entrance to the woods for a short walk to the location of the talk.

This event is part of the Friends of Bailey's Wood Medieval Day, showcasing the medieval history of Blackley and Bailey's Wood.
