Chris Rea may have sung about “The Road to Hell” but what would life be like without the M25? Find out about its history and construction and at the end of the talk, we might just have a vote on the question: ‘M25 – Friend or Foe?”

Whilst we know the M25, but how much do we really know about it?

Roger Mendham will look at the history behind the construction of the roads that were joined up to create the M25 which opened on 29 October 1986.

Expect some fascinating early photographs of the construction phase as well as interesting facts and attractions as we examine this important feature of northern Mole Valley.
