  • 08 Sep 2024
  • In person
  • Pre-booking required

Ann Lightman will lead a themed walk around some of the 53 acre Lawnswood Cemetery, with its wonderful memorials to the "great and the good" of Leeds and elsewhere. She will concentrate on memorials with some links to transport.

Join Ann Lightman for this themed walk highlighting memorials with links to transport - from shanks pony via road and rail to sea and air. The variety of links and jobs with connections to transport is widespread. Although the terrain is flat, it can be slippy when wet, so come prepared with sturdy shoes and all- weather clothing as the walk is outside.
