Discover Leicester Synagogue, a Jewish place of Worship.

The Orthodox Jewish Synagogue is a Grade II Listed Building & over 120 years old. A substantial Heritage Lottery Fund Project completed recently has created a Visitor Centre. This includes a timeline detailing the history of the Community since the first half of the 19th century, as well as an interactive computer programme covering all aspects of Judaism. There will be informal tours of the whole building with explanations from members of the Jewish Community about its use & the Jewish Faith.

Directions:
Highfield Street is on the left as you go up London Road from the Railway Station towards Victoria Park. Highfield Street is a residents ‘ parking area but there are parking meters costing 20p for an hour or 50p for up to 3 hours.
