Leicester City, County & Rutland At Risk War Memorials Project

Since 2012 with permission, we have taken into care 54 war memorials which have been saved from loss, caused by the closure, demolition or change of use of churches, chapels, working men's clubs and factories.

Had we not done so, many would have been lost for ever. As it is, we have rescued some from skips, for sale at auction, left in cupboards etc.

All are on display on specially built stands with story boards giving their provenance and history.

Research is carried out on the names which are included on our website.
