This talk tells the history of Yorkshire's premier airport from its founding in 1931 to the 21st century; the highest in the UK. It includes the interesting war years when it became a major producer of Avro bombers and reconnaissance aircraft.

Join aviation historian Ken Cothliff as he traces the fascinating history of Leeds Bradford Airport. This illustrated talk will tell the story of the Airport from its humble beginnings to its place in international travel today. Ken has a considerable number of archive photographs and some of them will be shared in this talk.
