Learning About Ripon

A guided walk, led by Ripon Civic Society, looking at where the young people of the city have been educated over the centuries. As well as today’s familiar sites we will find out about dame schools, national schools, high schools, academies and a bluecoat school. Obelisk in Ripon Market Place. The walk will be in and around the city centre will last for up to an hour and a half. The route is on paved surfaces and is step-free but will include some sloping paths.
