Knowle Parish Church - Tower Tours and Local History Exhibition
1717 High Street, Knowle, Solihull, West Midlands, B93 0LN
Knowle Parish Church has been at the heart of the community since the fifteenth century. Experience the peace within its walls, follow the Bible stories told in the stained glass windows, or visit our Soldiers' Chapel, honouring the fallen from world wars and other conflicts. The churchyard is a haven for wildlife and our Cobbles Cafe in the historic Guild House, adjacent to the church is open selling hot drinks and cakes from 10am - 12 noon. Knowle Local History Society are running a free exhibition 10am - 3pm inside church: 'American Interlude' explores Knowle
during the five months in 1944 when an American Army Medical Unit was billeted in the village en route for the Normandy landings.
If you would like a Tower Tour (climbing up to the tower to learn more about the bells, and if the day is clear to have a great view from the top!) then queries and tour booking are open from 10th August by emailing [email protected] Tours take place between 10am and 3pm and demand is usually high so please book in advance.
