Historical guided tour of the school, founded by Royal Charter in 1545, focusing on the buildings that date back to when the school moved to this site in 1885 and the bombing of the school in 1941.

Take a walking tour of the senior school site and view documents and artefacts illustrating 479 years since the school's foundation in 1545.
Staff, with assistance from current students and Old Coventrians, will provide a guided tour of the most historically important parts of the school buildings, including the Memorial library (an official war memorial) and the Jeff Vent archive room. The tour will start at the main entrance of the school on Warwick Road and last just over an hour, finishing in the Jeff Vent archive room.

Directions:
The school is conveniently located near Coventry train station and bus link at Central Six. Please meet at the school’s main entrance (the red doors at the foot of the tower) on Warwick Road 5-10 minutes before the tour time. On-site parking is available and will be signposted on Spencer Road.

Please arrive at the meeting point 5 minutes before your tour is due to depart. The tour includes several staircases and is unfortunately unsuitable for wheelchair/pushchair/pram access.
