Items from the National Trust's largest collection of fashion and dress are displayed on the first floor.
This year's exhibition, 'Playing by the rules' features children's clothing from the C19th and C20th centuries. It has been co-curated with young people and and includes games and hands-on-activities for children and the young-at-heart. Killerton's hillside garden is known for its exotic collection of trees, shrubs, herbaceous plants and tender ornamentals. Marvel at the enormous leaves and mysteriously shaped seed pods of the Magnolia. Find the seeds of a giant redwood. Take shade under the majestic Luccombe Oaks. Discover the picturesque gems of the bear's hut and the rock garden and enjoy views to a distant Dartmoor.
