Gardens Exhibition: Open daily 09:00-17:00. We invite you to explore the history of Ickworth’s parkland and gardens, shaped by the Hervey family over the centuries, in our Gardens Exhibition displayed in the Albana Woodland. As you wander through the woodland, you’ll follow the evolution of Ickworth Estate, from the initial designs to the present-day landscapes. Learn how the parkland and gardens have been shaped by one family, their inspirations, and their communities over the years.
Suffolk Craft Society Summer Exhibition: Open daily 10:00-16:00. This year we are welcoming the Suffolk Craft Society back to Ickworth for the second time to showcase their Summer Exhibition in the West Wing Gallery. This year’s exhibition takes inspiration from the theme ‘A Design Masterpiece’ and showcases a selection of contemporary artworks by talented local artists. The Suffolk Craft Society was formed in 1970 to promote the value and importance of contemporary crafts and to support individual craftspeople in the creation of their work.
Alongside these specialist events there is free access to the estate from 9:00-17:00 from 7th - 12th September.

Accessibility details
The House can be accessed via a step-free ramp. Inside the House there is a lift to access the first and second floors as well as the basement. The West Wing toilets are located in the basement and access is step-free via the moat entrance. There is disabled parking bays in the carpark and an accessible toilet. Staff and Volunteers are available to assist with access needs. There is a shuttle bus that can take visitors from the carpark to the house (subject to volunteer availability).

The estate is open from 09:00, last entry to the estate is at 16:00. The House last entry is at 15:00. The cafes close at 16:00. The estate itself will close at 17:00. The Suffolk Craft Society exhibition is held in the West Wing Gallery on the second floor. It is open between 10:00-16:00. It is open daily and there is no need to pre-book entry.
